Help Us On Weekends At Petsmart!
Most of our animals, if not all, are adopted during our showings at the Schererville Petsmart. The store and staff are very understanding and supportive. They donate the litter we use every week. But we need volunteers to help show and adopt animals, even if you can't foster.
Dogs
Each dog needs a holder for them to be shown at Petsmart. The more volunteers we have, the more dogs we can adopt out! During the summer months, we like to sit outside the store with the dogs.
Cats
We do have a great group of ladies that show cats. If you would like to join in, another helping hand is always welcome!
Set Up/Take Down
Each Friday at 4pm we set up cages for the coming weekend. Again on Sunday at 4pm we take the cages down so that everything can be cleaned for the following week. This is really where we need the most help. No experience necessary, we train on the spot, show up with a smile and ask anyone wearing a Treasured Friends shirt for Lois.
